**Schedule:** Part Time
**Shift** : 20 Hours per week
+ Part-time (20 hours)
+ MWF from approx. 9 to 4:15.
+ This is an entry level position.

The role youll contribute:
Responsible for provision and administration of specific therapy treatments only under the direct supervision of the staff Physical/Occupational Therapist. The Rehabilitation Aide as directed and supervised by the staff Therapist assists with restoration of patient functioning to prevent disability following injury, disease or physical disability. Assists patients to reach their maximum performance and level of functioning while learning to live within the limits of their capabilities. The Rehabilitation Aide participates in operational aspects of the department, maintains performance improvement activities within the department and participates in CQI activities. Performs clerical duties, assists with posting of patient charges in the computer order entry system. Participates in all infection control, departmental equipment training, organizational safety and fire safety programs. Assist with preparation, maintenance and clean up of all treatment areas in the department according to established procedures
The value youll bring to the team:
+ Responsible for providing specific treatment only as directed by the staff Physical/Occupational Therapist. Adheres to standards of physical medicine practice for neonate, pediatric, adolescent, geriatric patients and the general patient population.
+ Assist with the transferring of patients to treatment surfaces (tables, mats, chairs or beds).
+ Assists patients in the preparation and at the conclusion of treatments, including positioning, dressing or undressing and draping.
+ Assists with clerical procedures used in Rehabilitation Services, such as registration, copying, answering phones, scheduling, typing, and development of forms, and breaking down charts for HIM.
+ Prepares and cleans treatment area for patient use at all times.
+ Prepares treatment area prior to close of department for morning patients
Qualifications
The expertise and experiences youll need to succeed:
+ High School Diploma or GED Required
+ Completion of Rehab Aide course preferred Preferred
+ CPR - Cardiac Pulmonary Resuscitation Required
+ DL NUMBER - Driver License, Valid and in State Required
