The Community at Brookmeade is currently accepting applications for a full time Housekeeping Aide for The Terraces, Brookmeade's premier Assisted Living Facility!

Shift is Days (7 AM-3 PM)

Minimum Qualifications:

+ Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.

+ Basic understanding of cleaning techniques and use of cleaning chemicals.

+ Good communication skills to understand instructions and report issues.

+ Reliability and punctuality with a strong work ethic.

+ High school diploma or equivalent preferred but not required.

Responsibilities:

+ Perform routine cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming, and sanitizing surfaces in assigned areas.

+ Clean and disinfect restrooms, replenish supplies, and ensure all fixtures are in working order.

+ Change bed linens, make beds, and tidy resident or guest rooms according to established procedures.

+ Dispose of trash and recycling materials in a timely and sanitary manner.

+ Report any maintenance issues, safety hazards, or supply shortages to the supervisor promptly.

+ Follow all health and safety guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.

+ Assist with setting up rooms for special events or activities as needed.

+ Maintain cleaning equipment and supplies, ensuring they are used properly and stored safely.

Candidates without experience are also encouraged to apply. We will train.
