To continue our standard of excellence, Piedmont is seeking a motivated, reliable leader to join our team as a Manager, Planning and Compliance in our Ground Handling Department _._ The primary responsibility of the position is overseeing the daily activities of the Control Center and Compliance teams while supporting the activities of our ground handling operations. The Planning and Compliance Manager coaches and provides career development to the staff, coordinates new hire on-the-job training, and implements processes to ensure team members’ compliance with mandatory training requirements. The successful candidate will have three years of airline supervisory or management experience. This position will report to the Director, Customer Service _._
Essential Duties:
+ Ensure the Control Center team is equipped and prepared to handle challenges that will impact operational objectives
+ Research operational performance and report results to internal and external stakeholders
+ Implement processes to ensure team member compliance with mandatory training requirements and facilitate recurring training
+ Maintain station training, compliance and risk assessment records
+ Ensure various facility projects and routine maintenance standards are completed in a timely manner and within budget
+ Ensure that building codes and similar regulations are adhered to
+ Oversight of station’s environmental compliance
+ Review proposed airline flight schedules for feasibility
+ Evaluate future flight schedules compared to forecasted staffing levels
+ Analyze data captured through internal data collection tools
+ Administrative tasks may include daily / weekly / monthly reports
Job Qualifications and Competencies:
+ Three (3) years of airline supervisory or management experience
+ Knowledge of the Airport Operations Area environment
+ Effective verbal and written communication skills
+ Ability to maintain a professional demeanor in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment
+ Ability to mentor and develop team members effectively, diffuse conflicts, and interact with all levels of personnel and management staff
+ Advanced computer skills with Microsoft Office Suite
Preferred Qualifications:
+ Bachelor’s degree in Aviation Management, Business Management, Logistics, or similar
+ Previous airport control center experience
+ Previous experience with Ascent Right Now View, DECS, GS RealTime, QIK, and Sabre Gate Planner
+ Two (2) years of experience with Microsoft Power Platform
+ Two (2) years of experience in performance reporting
+ Previous teaching or training experience
Work Environment:
+ Standard office environment, use of telephones, computers, and other office equipment
+ Airport ramp environment, subject to varied weather conditions, fumes, and elevated noise levels
+ All shifts including weekends, nights, holidays and/or irregular shifts
Physical Requirements:
+ Occasional lifting up to 25 pounds
+ Standing / sitting for long periods of time

Starting Rate:
$67,000.00/Annual Salary - 73,000.00/Annual Salary (Based on locale and experience)
