AMETEK LMS is currently looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Second-Shift Machinist to join our production team. If you have a passion for machining and a strong commitment to quality, we encourage you to apply!

The Machinist I will:

+ Perform standard work tasks with guidance on more complex assignments.

+ Operate and inspect output from value stream workstations to ensure quality.

+ Use and maintain tools and equipment necessary to execute standard work efficiently.

+ Test and calibrate simple assemblies according to detailed specifications.

+ Complete standard work with a high level of quality and limited discrepancies, while continuously improving.

+ Work efficiently on simple tasks, and seek assistance for complex tasks as needed.

+ Identify challenges during work execution and actively seek help to resolve them.

Machinist I Postion Requirements:

+ Specific vision abilities required include close vision, color vision, and depth perception.

+ Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.

+ Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, or climb for extended periods.

+ 1-2 years of experience with manual lathe operations is preferred.

+ High school diploma or equivalent experience.

+ Proficiency in reading and writing in English.

+ Basic computer skills using Microsoft Windows.

+ Basic math skills and ability to use measurement tools (ruler, scale, calipers, tape measure).

Compensation

Employee Type: Hourly

Salary Minimum: $35,000

Salary Maximum: $40,000
