Assist supervisor in coordinating the daily production of product, directing workflow and solving problems related to the chair assembly.
Key Tasks
Act as a key resource on the production floor, supporting operators in meeting daily targets and fostering effective teamwork
Conduct on the job training of operators in production SOP’s, standard work, and in process quality checks
Address product/production process deviations
Work closely with the Industrial Engineering department regarding production improvements, rebalances, etc.
Adhere to all ISO and FDA procedures and standards
Practice and ensure a safe working environment in accordance to PINC standards
Resolve programming-related failures occurring in the production line process.
Fulfil assembly duties as a production operator when additional capacity is needed
Support and drive continuous improvements throughout production
Other duties as assigned

Your Background
Preferred – three (3) year of experience in the assembly of powered wheelchairs
Preferred – technical experience and knowledge of assembly of all Permobil chair models
Proven ability to effectively interact and communicate with people to foster a productive team
Be one that is viewed as leading by example
Good attendance is a must
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, as well as constant professionalism
Basic proficiency with computers (Windows, Excel, Word, etc.)
Experience in the assembly of power wheelchairs
Other qualifications or experiences.
