Position Summary...
What you'll do...
The Automation Maintenance Senior Manager will be responsible for the management and oversight of automation maintenance activities across multiple regions, ensuring automation assets operate at peak performance with high system uptime and reliability. This role involves executing a comprehensive automation maintenance strategy, driving preventative, predictive and condition based maintenance programs, and improving system uptime and efficiency. The ideal candidate will have expertise in automation systems and equipment with a focus on developing and leading maintenance teams to ensure long-term reliability, operational excellence, and alignment with company-wide goals.
**What you'll do** :
**Oversight of Automation Assets and Reliability** :
+ Provide direct oversight for the maintenance, operation, and optimization of automation assets across multiple facilities.
+ Develop and monitor KPIs to measure the performance and reliability of automation systems.
+ Establish and implement reliability-based practices to ensure the continuous improvement and long-term health of automation equipment.
+ Prioritize and resolve equipment reliability issues to reduce downtime and improve operational output.
+ Partner with facility teams to evaluate the condition of existing supporting assets and determine necessary upgrades or replacements.
**Execution of Automation Maintenance Strategy** :
+ Design and implement a proactive automation maintenance strategy, incorporating preventive, predictive, and condition-based maintenance practices.
+ Standardize and oversee maintenance procedures, ensuring consistency and alignment across all facilities.
+ Build and maintain maintenance schedules to maximize asset availability and operational uptime.
+ Implement and leverage data analytics, sensors, and monitoring systems to identify trends and optimize asset performance.
+ Collaborate with cross-functional teams (trades, engineering, operations, and IT) to align automation maintenance strategy with business goals.
**Leadership and Team Development** :
+ Lead, mentor, and develop regional maintenance teams and technicians to effectively manage complex automation systems and troubleshoot issues.
+ Cultivate a strong culture of safety, innovation, and continuous improvement within the maintenance organization.
+ Provide training and development opportunities for staff to stay updated on emerging automation technologies and best practices.
**Continuous Improvement Initiatives** :
+ Drive maintenance process improvements to reduce downtime, costs, and waste while improving overall system performance.
+ Audit maintenance programs regularly and identify areas for optimization.
+ Stay ahead of technological advancements in automation and recommend and implement upgrades or system enhancements as necessary.
What you'll bring:
+ Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Automation, Industrial Maintenance, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
+ Minimum of 7+ years of experience in automation maintenance, reliability, or a related field, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
+ Experience designing and implementing preventative and predictive maintenance programs.
+ Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage projects in a fast-paced environment.
+ Strong analytical skills with the ability to leverage data to drive decisions and continuous improvement.
+ Familiarity with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems) and asset tracking tools.

+ Certification in maintenance reliability (CMRP or CRE) or related field.
+ Knowledge of lean manufacturing and Six Sigma principles.
+ Experience with IoT and Industry 4.0 technologies.

The annual salary range for this position is $80,000.00-$155,000.00
Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.
