Ford Motor Company’s newest approach to lead mainstream introduction of new technology and improve customer experiences is through over-the-air software updates. The team is looking to fill a lead role in management of over-the-air software update strategy and planning. By leveraging these updates and an understanding of what customers want, you can help prioritize the development of content that delivers the most value. You will play a major role in shaping the new overall customer experience and revolutionizing mobility.

Responsibilities:

+ Lead role in management of all OTA software update planning and strategy

+ Develop OTA software update strategy to support overall calendar year objectives

+ Collect and organize data that supports over-the-air vehicle software updates to serve a balance of customers across vehicle lines and product categories

+ Manage and organize OTA requests using Jira and Confluence

+ Own delivery of critical product management milestones from through

+ Provide key insights into process improvement opportunities

Required Qualifications:

+ Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent work experience

+ 7+ years’ professional experience in program, product, and/or technical management

+ 2+ years of professional experience using Jira

Additional Preferred Qualifications:

+ Master’s degree in engineering, Computer Science, or related field

+ 7+ years’ professional experience in program, product, and/or technical management

+ Professional experience in a software management role

+ Strong customer focus and excellent communication skills, both written and oral

+ Excellent people and leadership skills that supports collaboration
