    Position Summary...

     

    We are seeking a strategic and experienced Senior Manager to lead the Incident Response function for the Safety team within Walmart’s Last Mile Delivery (LMD) Trust & Safety (T&S) organization. This role is responsible for overseeing the rapid and effective handling of safety and security events, driving cross-functional collaboration, and leading a high-performing team. The ideal candidate will be a skilled leader with a strong background in incident response, operational strategy, risk mitigation, and stakeholder engagement.

     

    What you'll do...

    Strategic Leadership

    • Lead the development and execution of incident response strategies to ensure rapid and effective handling of safety and security events.

    • Monitor data streams to validate incident categorization against established standards.

    • Develop triage protocols for efficient decision-making on incoming safety and security incidents.

    • Deliver “white glove” service protocols for significant incidents and ensure high-quality resolution.

    • Conduct briefings with senior LMD and cross-functional leadership on critical incidents.

    Team Leadership & Development

    • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of incident response professionals.

    • Foster an engaging and inclusive team environment focused on continuous improvement and excellence.

    • Drive team performance through clear goals, regular feedback, and professional development opportunities.

    Cross-Functional Collaboration & Prevention

    • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to drive prevention and response strategies based on incident insights.

    • Feed incident insights into strategic prevention efforts and long-term safety planning.

    • Support Global Security Operations Center (GSOC) operations during incidents and activations.

    What you'll bring:

    • 6+ years of experience in incident response, operations, risk management, asset protection, security, or related fields.

    • Proven experience leading teams and managing complex operational strategies.

    • Strong analytical, organizational, and decision-making skills.

    • Proficiency in tools such as Copilot, Excel, PowerPoint, and incident tracking systems.

    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

    • Ability to lead multiple strategic initiatives in a fast-paced environment.

    • Familiarity with incident response frameworks and GSOC operations.

    • Experience working with cross-functional teams in high-exposure environments.

    • Demonstrated ability to influence and collaborate with senior leadership.

    Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Operations , or related field and 3 years’ experience in operations, project management, or related area OR 5 years’ experience in operations, project management, or related area. 1 year’s supervisory experience.
