Position Summary...

This Senior Manager will play a critical role supporting the pharmacy and optical/vision center patient safety program for Walmart and Sam’s Club. The work includes event management and investigation, determining contributing factors and identifying root cause so that strong improvement actions are identified and implemented. The Senior Manager will work cross-functionally across the Health and Wellness organization with the many teams engaged in the delivery of safe, high-quality care.

What you'll do...

+ Oversee the creation, review, and refinement of the Patient Safety Program

+ Investigate patient safety issues and participate in root cause analysis

+ Recommend and facilitate change to improve patient safety

+ Collaborate on policy development and implementation of educational presentations

The annual salary range for this position is $90,000.00-$180,000.00

Minimum Qualifications...

Advanced degree in a health care-related field (for example, master of science in nursing, doctor of nursing practice degree, clinical nurse specialist)

5 years’ experience in quality improvement models/programs.

Prior experience in risk management or patient safety operations.
