Do you enjoy working with software products and computer systems? Join us! Our Software Quality Assurance team works in an agile, collective environment. You will be using your skills and expertise to take ownership of software test activities, analysis, and automation for cutting-edge software products. These products cover a very wide range from advanced mission payloads and electronic systems through highly integrated aircraft to orbital and space exploration systems. You will design test schedules, plans, scenarios, scripts, and procedures, monitor defect discovery and resolution, conduct functional software tests, and create and maintain automated test scripts and tools for your product line(s). Your duties involve collaboration with software engineering, program management, and quality engineering.

Responsibilities
• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using industry-standard tools and frameworks.
• Collaborate with software developers and QA team members to understand the software architecture and requirements.
• Execute automated tests to validate software functionality, performance, and security.
• Identify, document, and track software defects and inconsistencies.
• Work closely with the development team to ensure that issues are addressed and resolved in a timely manner.
• Participate in the creation and maintenance of test plans, test cases, and test data.
• Continuously improve and optimize the automated testing processes and frameworks.
• Perform regression testing to ensure that new changes do not adversely affect existing functionality.
• Provide regular status updates and reports on automated testing activities and results.
• Assist in the setup and maintenance of test environments.
• Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in software testing and automation
Qualifications You Must Have:
+ Bachelor's degree in related engineering discipline and 6+ years of relevant experience
+ Demonstrated knowledge of engineering principles and practices
+ Experience working in multi-disciplinary teams
+ Experience with analyzing requirements, developing test procedures and related artifacts in an agile environment, and working with agile teams to translate them into acceptance criteria for user stories, features, and epics
+ Experience with executing tests and recording results
+ Experience developing technical test documentation, including test procedures, test reports, test data sets, test coverage and traceability reports, test related risks, and briefing materials for syncs, program reviews, control gates, and other events as required by the program team
+ Experience coordinating with other groups, such as lab managers and other teams, to harmonize test activities, such as integration testing, dry runs, and final verification, with respect to schedule and contract requirements
+ Comfortable working with program managers and software engineers to identify, manage, and resolve defects
+ Effective, concise, clear communication during with customers and internal stakeholders, large-form meetings, and potentially difficult conversations
+ Proactive and self-motivated to drive new Software Quality Assurance initiatives
+ Experience leading a teameffectively by setting clear goals, monitoring team performance, delegating, forecasting needs, providing constructive feedback, resolving conflicts, and developing team skills
Qualifications We Prefer:
+ Experience with software test tools for test management, execution, and analysis(Cypress, Playwright, JMeter, JUnit, NUnit, Cucumber, Appium, Gatling, Selenium, etc)
+ Experience with writing unit tests
+ Experience with DevOps pipelines and continuous testing
+ Experience in Agile development and software development lifecycle
+ Experience standing up test suites for test automation
+ Experience with test automation and command execution using a scripting language (e.g. Python, Shell Script, etc)
+ Experience working with GitHub, Jira, and Confluence
+ Fluency in Python, .NET, Java, C++, and/or C#

Estimated Starting Salary Range: $108,496.89 - $149,183.22. Compensation varies depending on a wide array of factors, such as candidates' key skills, relevant work experience, and education/training/certifications. The disclosed range estimate may be adjusted for any applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled.
