Position Overview
You will work remotely as a senior consultant in a casual and fun team setting to develop modern software for Utility Grid Management Systems.
Responsibilities
Responsibilities.
As a Senior Consultant you will play a pivotal role in the delivery of AssurX implementations for integration in conjunction with our leading AssurX software partners, providing consulting services to our existing customers. This position will help implement and support product installation, integration development, interface support, application tuning, and system maintenance. In addition, you will have the opportunity to:
+ Travel to customer sites across the country when needed. Most travel has been limited to at most 25% a month which varies per project requirements.
+ Work from home.
+ Solve complex implementation, requirements, design, and business process challenges.
+ Become a Subject Matter Expert (SME) on various Emergency Management and ADMS applications, integration, and architecture.
This opportunity will require you to understand the procedures and expected system applications and integrations that are being delivered to AssurX Qualus customers. Your primary responsibility is to ensure on-time project delivery, which requires a clear understanding of expectations of project assignments. You will be part of a core project team working on projects to meet the project deliverables and timelines. Training will be provided for this position as needed for this position.

Qualifications
Qualifications:
The following qualities are desired and will be used to differentiate all candidates who apply for this position.
+ 15+ years of work experience supporting Electric Utility Applications and Integrations for project implementations of AssurX Solutions.
+ Computer Science degree or equivalent
+ Microsoft Tools Experience (MS 360, Teams, Zoom, Remote Meeting and Chat Software)
+ Experience with technologies such as:
+ Windows, Windows Server, and AssurX cloud solutions.
+ Proficient .NET, Scripting, C Sharp, and Windows solutions,
+ Cloud Experience (AssurX deployed applications)
+ Multiple IDE Development Tools Experience (For Example: MS Visual Studio, VS Code, Chrome Development Tools, and Plugins)
+ AssurX Integrations and solutions and CIP and NERC asset compliance management.
+ Experience with leading development and technical teams
+ Innovative thinker with a drive to learn and implement new technologies
+ Self-motivated to find solutions to problems.
+ Root Cause Analysis (RCA)
+ Good interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
+ Demonstrated teamwork and customer focus
+ High standards of professional ethics
+ US citizens or permanent resident
Desired Qualifications.
The following qualities are desired and will be used to differentiate the applicants:
+ Multiple years working in the utility industry
+ Working with utility companies with compliance management systems and solutions
+ Agile Methodology Certification or relevant Experience
+ Multiple years working as a customer facing consultant
+ Experience creating work estimates, work tasks, and solutions to deliver customer defined solutions.
+ Willing and able to travel to customer project sites or work with MS Teams as needed per GridBright assigned projects.
