Position Overview:
RTX is seeking a Senior Messaging Developer within Enterprise Infrastructure Services. The focus of this role is working within the Messaging function of EIS - Digital Experience and Collaboration group. Major responsibilities include the following below.
What You Will Do:
+ Scripting and automation of administrative task for multiple Exchange on-line (o365) and Exchange on-prem environments
+ Develop and maintain automated user account lifecycle processes
+ Implement attribute and policy driven automation
+ Embrace a Partner Early, Partner often philosophy with peer organizations (E.G., Cyber, Legal, Identity, Messaging operations) to ensure requirements are understood and implementations meet all RTX policies
+ Create and maintain detailed documentation of software configuration and deployment architectures
+ Troubleshoot and assist in the resolution of automation and account provisioning issues
+ Assist with scripting and automation expertise to reduce administrative overhead and achieve operational efficiencies
+ Support messaging operations acquisitions and divestitures
+ Play a key role in enhancing the overall RTX Employee Messaging Experience
Qualifications You Must Have:
+ Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years experience
+ 8 years experience with fundamental front-end languages such as HTML, SQL, .Net and Powershell
+ 5 years experience with database technology such as MySQL, Oracle, and MongoDB
+ 5 years experience with Microsoft offerings in general; including O365, Exchange on-line, Azure Active Directory and MS Graph
+ 5 years experience using Microsoft PowerShell for the management of 0365 and on-prem Microsoft applications and services
Qualifications We Prefer:
+ Project management skills including ability to develop and track projects
+ Proficiency with data analysis functions and Scripting/Automation tools
+ Problem solving and analytical abilities including the ability to critically evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, decompose high-level information into details and apply sound business knowledge
+ Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
+ Self-Motivated with the ability to multi-task and work independently, as well as work collaboratively with teams, some teams may be geographically distributed
+ Initiative and ability to quickly acquire knowledge

The salary range for this role is 101,000 USD - 203,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Hired applicants may be eligible for annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs depending on the level of the position and whether or not it is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.
This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
