Corteva Agriscience has an exciting opportunity for a **Sales Effectiveness Manager** (SEM). The Sales Effectiveness Manager is responsible for the planning and implementation of Sales Effectiveness for the Dairyland Seed Brand.
Responsibilities:
A Day in the Life of You:
+ Conduct annual District Planning (coverage, quality & effectiveness) for Dairyland Seed.
+ Salesforce development to increase the overall effectiveness of customer service by dealers and field employees, to drive profitable market share and sustainable growth for their assigned areas.
+ Guide overall strategies, tactical execution and coordination across functions with the Areas of assigned coverage and ensure strategies are consistent with the overall strategies.
+ Oversee and assist District Sales Managers in the appropriate management of all areas of customer management within respective districts.
+ Assist District Sales Managers in dealer recruitment, retention, retirement and recognition activities.
+ Create annual dealer planning guidelines and work directly with district sales managers to drive a high level of execution with every dealer.
+ Implement best business practices into areas of assigned coverage from other SEM’s across the United States.
+ Develop and track execution of 5-year plans that support assigned areas.
+ Provide sales training and development for new sales personnel as needed.
+ Hold District Sales Managers accountable to their yearly district plans and track accordingly.
+ Member of Dairyland Seed Leadership Team
Requirements:
What expertise have you grown?
+ Bachelor's Degree in Ag-Business, Agronomy, Business or Marketing. Will consider other degrees with related field sales experience.
+ At least 5 years of experience in Ag marketing, sales or sales management.
+ Project management experience preferred

This reflects a reasonable estimate of the targeted base salary for this role. This role is also eligible for an annual bonus. Based on factors such as geographic location and candidate qualifications, actual base pay is determined when an employment offer is made.
