    Opportunity

     

    Responsible for the overall management and organization of Destination Kohler’s warehouse. Responsibilities includeprioritizingwarehousefor unloading, loading,checking,staging, and storingitems from properties. Also responsible forpicking upand deliveringitems from properties. Operate a variety of powered or manual material handling equipment, inventory control systems, and other related equipmentsuch as:scales, calculators, bar code readers, palletizers, shrink wrappers, etc. Move and ship products as directed and perform all functionsin accordance withspecified guidelines and instructions, while exercising safety for oneself and others.

    SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES

    1. Maintain the work area,practice,and follow all required safety regulations.

    1. Receive phone calls/emailsfrom customers, carriers, or truck drivers. Investigate and call back with findings.

    1. Meet schedules,time framesand project deadlines.

    1. Manage multiple tasks to obtaintimelyresults.

    1. Demonstrates the ability to prioritize and handle more than one task at atime

    1. Explore ways to streamline or make the job more effective.

    1. Perform re-packingof all damaged carton productsin accordance withthe non-conforming carton standards provided.

    1. Confirm all picked shipments and replenishments.

    1. Perform all inventory transactions necessary.

    1. Assistco-workers asrequired.

    1. Perform minor maintenance and report abnormalities.

    1. Take initiative to address all process and equipment malfunctions and problems.

    1. Perform all duties as assigned by supervision.

    1. Cooperate,collaborate,and effectivelyutilizecross-functional resources.

    1. Organize racking by property and/or like in kindmaterials

    1. Maintain open aisleways for PIVs to traveldown

    1. Maintain inventory audits and activelyimplementchanges

    1. Providewarehouseinformation tobusiness managers. Receive feedback fromcustomersand collaborate to achieve goals.

    Skills/Requirements

    + Two-year associate degree or a high school diploma with a minimum of three (3) years of experience in warehousing and shipping procedures and methods.

    + Knowledge of Kohler Co.productoffering is helpful.

    + Strong organization, collaborative,and communication skills

    + Workswell independently and isflexible

    + PIV (Powered Industrial Vehicle) Training.

    + Learn and be able to:

    + Use electronic data entry equipment at a basic level.

    + Have, or learn basic computerskills.

The specific hourly rate offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate’s experience, their education, and the work location.
