Summary:
Meta is seeking a Technical Program Manager to advance the state-of-the-art cloud-scale infrastructure at Meta. Meta’s infrastructure is immense, both in its physical footprint and in the collection of products and services we support. We are in the midst of a fundamental transformation of this infrastructure – streamlining the developer experience while operating efficiently at a rapidly increasing scale, and supporting the world’s leading web and AI workloads. As a Technical Program Managers (TPM) who specialize in backbone networking for Meta's hyper-scale infrastructure, you will be at the heart of driving this transformation. In close partnership with engineering, network investment and other cross-functional teams, you will identify technical problem statements, create technical roadmaps, scope programs to deliver technical outcomes with business priorities, and drive them to completion by aligning and leading large cross-functional teams.

Technical Program Manager - Network Infrastructure Responsibilities:
1. Collaborate with Engineering and business owners to define program requirements, set priorities, and establish scope which includes defining the roadmap and long-term strategy of the teams that you are partnering with
2. Partner with cross functional teams to drive technical analysis, design, development, testing, implementation, and post implementation phases
3. Build and align program teams to efficiently deliver on shared goals
4. Manage cross functional dependencies, risks, and changes effectively by optimizing scope, schedule, and resources accordingly
5. Develop and own communication plans to effectively and proactively communicate program status, issues, and risks to stakeholders
6. Define and track key metrics and key quality and performance indicators and drive cross functional execution of program deliverables
7. Proactively identify and analyze complex, long-term, critical infrastructure problems with engineering leaders and stakeholders
8. Drive internal and external process improvements across multiple teams and functions including reducing the manual efforts through automation
9. Influence product decisions to align with higher company initiatives
Minimum Qualifications:

10. B.S. in Computer Science or a related technical discipline, or equivalent experience
11. 7+ years of software engineering, systems engineering, hardware engineering, or technical product/program management experience
12. Experience delivering tech programs or products from inception to delivery
13. Knowledge of user needs, gathering requirements, and defining scope
14. Experience operating under your own initiative across multiple teams, demonstrated critical thinking, and thought leadership
15. Communication experience and experience working with technical management teams to develop systems, solutions, and products
16. Organizational, coordination and multi-tasking experience
17. Analytical and problem-solving experience with large-scale systems
18. Experience establishing work relationships across multi-disciplinary teams and multiple partners in different time zones

19. 5+ years of experience of network infrastructure engineering or infrastructure technical product/program management experience
Public Compensation:
$134,000/year to $196,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits
