    As the Maintenance Technician your chief responsibility will be to preserve the excellent condition and operational readiness of our facility.  This will include:

     

    + Conduct diagnostic assessments, scheduling, and performing repairs and maintenance on all plant equipment.

    + Develop preventative maintenance procedures

    + Document completed work orders and perform other assignments to ensure a safe, clean healthy and efficient facility.

    This is a physically active role requiring:

    + Ability to maneuver around heavy equipment including bending, climbing, crawling, manual dexterity Frequently lifting and carrying objects weighing approximately 40 pounds.

     

    If you are a “Jack or Jill of all trades” with a strong knowledge of industrial electric, pump repair, forklift repairs, and plumbing, this position would be a perfect fit for you!

    Basic Requirement:

    + High school diploma or GED,

    +  Mechanically inclined, willingness to learn.

    + By law, you must be at least 18 years of age.

    Preferred Requirements:

    + Associate degree from a two-year college or technical school in a related field

    + Minimum 2 years of maintenance work experience including pumps, gear boxes and loader machinery.

    + Knowledge of hazardous material handling and OSHA training.

    +  As you will interact with internal staff, ability to communicate in English is important.

    + The successful candidate will be required to pass a physical, drug test and DEA background check.
