ARS is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Software Engineer to join our Cloud Services Team. In this role, you will design, develop, implement, test and maintain software solutions that enable the delivery, management, and optimization of cloud-based infrastructure and backend services. You will work closely with cloud architects, DevOps engineers, and system administrators to support the deployment of scalable, secure, and reliable cloud solutions across multiple platforms.

Responsibilities include:

+ Design, Develop, Test Backend services, written in Go, to orchestrate cloud APIs

+ Make independent technical decisions that align with project goals

+ Assist the service desk in resolving issues with the backend services

+ Develop DevSecOps tools and techniques as necessary to construct an automated and secure DevSecOps pipeline

+ Develop DevSecOps monitoring and reporting capabilities to allow developers, testers and stakeholders to observe the availability and performance of the system

+ Capacity to grow and develop new skills in response to emerging challenges

+ Adhere and support AGILE process-based development

+ Other duties as assigned

Qualifications/ Technical Experience Requirements:

+ Must be a US Citizen

+ Must have an active SECRET clearance, TS with SCI eligibility is preferred

+ 7+ years of experience developing and compiling code

+ 2+ years of experience with Docker and container-based technologies

+ 2+ years of experience with Cloud technologies

+ Strong foundation in Linux and virtual machines

+ Strong foundation in containers, algorithms, and software application design

+ Excellent people and project management skills

+ Strong communication skills

+ Demonstrated experience working groups, teams and IPTs.

+ Ability to work efficiently on teams and also individually with minimal supervision.

+ Strong analytical, communication, and attention to detail skills
