Your Impact
The Director, SF&I Sales & Execution leads a team of managers and analysts to deliver growth and execution of the Sell, Furnish, and Install (SF&I) business model within Home Services to achieve their financial and operational goals. Responsibilities include the development and implementation of the end-to-end SF&I strategy in setting the SF&I capability road map, the SF&I category road map, and directing the team to meet the goals and objectives on those plans. The Director will take into consideration competitive position, organizational readiness, proformas, and other critical inputs necessary to make the right capability and category decisions within SF&I. This leader will be aware of federal, state, and local regulations for real property improvements, including correct taxation, permitting, licensure, etc. and will work closely with Compliance and Legal to manage our risks. This leader will be aware of federal, state, and local regulations for information security, including PCI compliance, and will work closely with Technology to manage our risks. This role directly supports Installation Merchants, Specialty Store Operations, and Stores, and serves as the point-of-contact for escalations regarding SF&I. S/he is a Subject Matter Expert in installed sales, third-party labor management, services revenue recognition, and solution management.
What You Will Do
+ Primarily responsible for directing and delivery of the Lowe's Sell, Furnish & Install strategic road maps, including capabilities and categories.
+ Establishes, in partnership with Finance and Installation Merchants, the SF&I Annual Operating Plan based on the capability and category road maps and leads the delivery of SF&I sales according to that plan.
+ Ensures SF&I compliance with federal, state, local regulations for real-property improvement.
+ Controls SF&I net margin and operating expenses within the Annual Operating Plan.
+ Identifies category exceptions (poor conversion, bad debt, aged sales, etc.) and drives the resolution of same.
+ Responsible for establishing issue-resolution guidelines and SLAs, and ensuring they are followed to enable the team to handle escalations and inquires from Stores, Installation Merchants, etc.
+ Will maintain a strategic partnership with the Installation Merchants in the execution of all SF&I categories. Responsible for maintaining relationships, communicating effectively, and building cross functional partnerships with senior leaders with a focus on SF&I.
+ Responsible for ensuring that the entire SF&I organization within Home Services is listening to and reacting to the needs of the business while also fully supporting the enterprise strategy and objectives. They will ensure that all members of the team utilize all available tools, data, and insights to deliver the best possible of service and results to their respective partners.
+ Works with business partners and other stakeholders to prioritize information/reporting needs and prioritizes activities for direct reports.
+ Provides timely, effective and actionable feedback and coaching to reporting individuals so that they may continue growth and development as well as perform necessary responsibilities of their role.
+ Responsible for creating a culture of continuous improvement, using lessons learned and feedback from business partners to modify and improve all existing processes and creating new processes/best practices as well as sponsoring a prioritized list of needed IT enhancements based on the needs of their team
+ Assists with recruiting and hiring efforts as needed. Responsible for leading and developing their team, especially the managers, with a focus on Core Behaviors and on succession planning. Will work with other leaders within the Home Services organization to create development and leadership opportunities for the entire department to create a robust bench of talent that will become the future leaders of the organization.
Minimum Qualifications
+ Bachelor's Degree Business, Management, Operations, or related field and 5-7 Years Related Industry Experience (Installation, Repair or US Home Improvement)
+ 11-15 Years Related Industry Experience (Installation, Repair or US Home Improvement)
+ 1-2 Years Experience supporting senior leadership (VP and above) and 5+ years of managing direct reports
Preferred Skills/Education
+ 8-10 Years Prior corporate retail pricing, promotions and competitive intelligence analytics or strategic experience
