Job Description

As a lead platform DevOps engineer at Insight Global, you can use your technical skills to affect mission-forward change. Youll guide your team as they use the latest cloud technologies to improve your clients environment with current container software to ensure seamless orchestration. Using your DevOps platform expertise, youll lead your team as you inform strategy and design while ensuring standards are met throughout the containerization process.

Skills and Requirements

7+ years of experience administering Linux operating systems such as Rocky, RHEL, Ubuntu, or CentOS

6+ years of experience with DevOps

1+ years of experience with the IRS

Experience provisioning, configuring, patching, securing, hardening, and managing systems

Experience developing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using CloudBees Jenkins, with automation of build, test, and deployment processes

Experience with multiple programming languages, including Python, Java, JavaScript, Groovy, Golang, Ruby, and Shell Scripting, for service development

Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform and configuration management with Ansible, including artifact delivery between on-premises repositories and cloud storage such as AWS S3

Experience conducting security audits and implementing security best practices throughout the SDLC using tools such as AppScan, SonarQube, NexusIQ, Qualys, Seeker, Sysdig, and Nessus

Experience developing applications using Java frameworks, including Spring Boot, Spring Batch, and Spring MVC, and in API testing for SOAP and REST web-services using SoapUI

Knowledge of container technologies such as OpenShift, Kubernetes, Docker, Podman, and ArgoCD, for scalable container orchestration, including writing YAML files for deployment to the OpenShift container platform

Bachelors degree in a CS field Experience developing enterprise cloud-native solutions, including Kubernetes, Docker, AWS, Jenkins, or Azure

Experience creating and improving continuous automation across multiple technical stacks

Experience creating and improving continuous deployment tools built on Kubernetes

Experience triaging and resolving issues related to both open-source and commercial tools in public cloud environments

Knowledge of scripting languages, including Python, Linux, or Shell Script null
