    Job Description

    Insight Global is looking for a lighting designer to join the team at a national engineering consulting firm. This position will involve meeting with the public to discuss lighting demands based on company standards and requirements. Duties will include formulating and designing an outdoor lighting plan to best meet the customers needs that is within the guidelines of the standards. Communication skills will be crucial for discussions with clients, customers, crews, and other agencies. The ability to maintain a balance between schedules is imperative. Strong skills acknowledging and managing customer complaints and the ability to find resolutions is essential.  Youll be responsible for managing small-scale projects for property ownersboth residential and commercialwho need upgrades, maintenance, or additional lighting. You will oversee the drafting & design phase of the project, coordinating with both the customer and internal teams to ensure timely and successful completion.

    Skills and Requirements

     

    Profile 1: No degree, no experience just looking to get into the lighting field!!!

    Profile 2:

    2-3 years of experience in power/lighting

    Maximo experience

    Design software

    Basic knowledge of electric fundamentals/ power distribution null
