    Job Description

    Insight Global is looking for a Controls Automation Engineer for one of its clients in greater Grand Rapids, Mi area. This position will play a pivotal role in supporting and spearheading the company's automation projects throughout the course of the next two years. You will be responsible for troubleshooting PLC ladder logic and data handling functions for Control Logix's processors. Also, responsible for PLC documentation and archiving the PLC programs. This position will be involved in maintenance of equipment, assessing current and new technological capabilities within the facility. We are looking for innovators and critical thinkers and someone that is proficient at thinking outside the box.

     

    This is a full-time position with a base salary of $100,000 to $130,000 based on previous experience. Full benefits and PTO are included in this position.

    Skills and Requirements

     

    - 5+ years of previous experience in Controls Automation Engineering

     

    - strong background with Allen Bradley PLC and programming languages

     

    - Bachelor Degree in Electrical Engineering

     

    - hands on experience in utilizing AutoCad

    - shown ability to read, write and program electrical schematics - Siemens programming experience null
