Job Description

A client of Insight Globals is looking for a Linux Admin/Engineer to provide technical support for Red Hat Linx operating system on IBM Z under the zVM hypervisor. They will participate in design, development, and implementation of systems engineering activities. They will be responsible for components of engineering and/or analytical tasks and activities and serve as a proficient technical resource providing knowledge and capabilities as a team member and individual contributor. pay range 60-65/hr

Skills and Requirements

5+ years of Linux Admin/Engineering experience (ideally around 10)

Red Hat Certified system Admin (RHCSA) equivalent skills

RHEL 8 & 9

Server provisioning with kickstart and disk clone (Anaconda and first boot)

Security scanning and remediation (CVE and RHSA)

Shell/bash scripting

Network configuration and User ID group management

Atlassian products including Jira, Bitbucket (git) and confluence Ansible

Openshift
