    Job Description

    Insight Global is looking for an Operations Project Manager to sit onsite for Fintech company headquartered in San Jose, CA.

     

    Pay Range: $50-$57

    Key Responsibilities:

    PMO Leadership: Establish and maintain processes to ensure seamless project management, coordination, and communication across multiple engineering teams and time zones.

     

    Cross-Regional Collaboration: Work closely with stakeholders in the US, China, and India to align priorities, ensure accountability, and bridge cultural and logistical gaps.

     

    Project Planning: Define project scope, goals, deliverables, timelines, and resource requirements collaboratively with regional leads and stakeholders.

     

    Schedule and Milestone Management: Develop and regularly update project schedules, milestones, and deadlines while tracking progress and delivering reports to leadership.

     

    Risk Management: Proactively identify and mitigate potential risks related to scope, budget, timelines, and interdependencies across teams.

     

    Stakeholder Engagement: Act as the primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, ensuring clear and consistent communication and status updates.

     

    Process Improvement: Evaluate current workflows and project management tools, identify inefficiencies, and implement best practices to optimize operations.

     

    Document Management: Maintain accurate records, documentation, and status reports to ensure alignment and transparency across regions.

    Skills and Requirements

     

    Bachelors degree in engineering, business, project management, or a related field; advanced degree is a plus.

     

    7+ years of project management or operations experience, preferably in engineering or technology-related fields.

     

    Proven success managing cross-regional or multinational teams, including familiarity with time zone coordination and cultural nuances.

     

    Strong understanding of project management methodologies (Agile, Scrum, etc.) and tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence).

     

    Ability to adapt to fast-changing priorities and contexts while maintaining a results-driven focus.

     

    Excellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills to work effectively across varying geographies, hierarchies, and cultures.

     

    Strategic mindset with the ability to translate big-picture goals into actionable, measurable outcomes.

     

    Analytical skills and attention to detail in managing budgets, timelines, and resource allocation.

     

    Experience working with or for engineering teams on technical projects is a highly desirable plus. Familiarity with engineering workflows, design cycles, or technology development processes.

     

    Fluency in English is required; proficiency in additional languages (e.g., Mandarin, Hindi) is a bonus. null
