    The Senior Consumer Service Operations Professional is responsible for the daily activities across multiple service functions area. The Senior Consumer Service Operations Professional work assignments involve moderately complex to complex issues where the analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors.

     

    The PEEHIP onsite Senior Consumer Service Operations Professional may perform installation, implementation, client support, client services, client administration, customer service, enrollment and eligibility, claims processing, and call center operations. Investigates and settles claims and customer service issues. Understands department, segment, and organizational strategy and operating objectives, including their linkages to related areas. Makes decisions regarding own work methods, occasionally in ambiguous situations, and requires minimal direction and receives guidance where needed. Follows established guidelines/procedures. **All responsibilities must be performed onsite at Public Education Employees Health Insurance Plan in Montgomery, AL. This is not a Work at Home position.**

    Required Qualifications

    + Prior experience working in healthcare industry

    + **2+ years experience with Employer/Group Medicare plans**

    + Extensive experience in a corporate service operations environment

    + Demonstrated ability to analyze information, research problems, and determine and implement solutions

    + Ability to multi-task and work in a very fast-paced environment

    + Strong written and verbal communication skills to include presentation skills

    + Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to develop collaborative working relationships across multiple functional areas in the organization or with consumers

    + Consultative skills which include ability to assess, understand the consumer and make recommendations

    + **Ability to work independently**

    + Comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite Word & Excel

    + Strong technical experience with ability to navigate multiple systems

    + Ability to travel up to 15% within the US

    Preferred Qualifications

    + Bachelor's degree

    + PowerPoint and Access skills

    + Organizational skills necessary to effectively manage multiple activities

    + Experience with medical claims

    + Medicare experience

    + Project Management experience

    Address location for role:

    RSA headquarters, which houses PEEHIP, is located at 201 South Union Street, Montgomery, Alabama 36104.

     

    Travel: While this is a remote position, occasional travel to Humana's offices for training or meetings may be required.

    Pay Range

     

    The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc.

     

    $59,300 - $80,900 per year

     

    This job is eligible for a bonus incentive plan. This incentive opportunity is based upon company and/or individual performance.
