About The Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Legal Billing Analyst to join our Legal Operations team. This role is crucial to the efficient and accurate processing of legal invoices, vendor management, and legal financial transactions. This role needs a deep understanding of legal billing practices, financial processes, and payment procedures. The Senior Legal Billing Analyst will be responsible for the entire invoice lifecycle, from submission to payment, ensuring compliance with internal policies and vendor agreements. The Senior Legal Billing Analyst will also be responsible for processing settlement payments and managing wire transfers, requiring a high degree of accuracy and ensuring compliance with company policies and vendor agreements. The ability to communicate effectively with a diverse group of stakeholders, including the senior legal team, business sector representatives, outside counsel firms, and finance teams, is crucial for success in this role. This position demands a well-organized and task-oriented individual with strong critical thinking skills and the ability to shift priorities as critical matters arise.
What You'll Do:
+ **Invoice Processing & Management:**
+ Receive, review, and process high volume of legal invoices from both US and international vendors, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance with billing guidelines and company policies.
+ Verify invoices against approved rate structures, budgets, and vendor agreements.
+ Identify and resolve discrepancies with vendors, including incorrect rates, missing information, and unapproved charges.
+ Manage the invoice lifecycle within the e-billing system, from submission to payment confirmation.
+ Maintain accurate records of all invoices, payments, and communications.
+ Supervise and track outstanding invoices and follow up with vendors as needed.
+ Analyze complex invoice issues, identify root causes, and develop effective solutions.
+ Pivot nimbly among competing priorities and requests from internal stakeholders and external vendors.
+ **Vendor Management:**
+ Assist with the onboarding of new legal vendors, including gathering vital information, setting up vendors in the e-billing system, and ensuring compliance with company policies.
+ Maintain and update vendor information, including contact details, billing rates, and payment terms.
+ Serve as a point of contact for vendor inquiries regarding invoices, payments, and billing guidelines.
+ Professional global communication with stakeholders including internal senior legal professionals as well as external legal vendors.
+ **Financial Coding & Payment Processing:**
+ Apply appropriate financial codes (e.g., GL codes, cost centers, project codes) to invoices to ensure accurate financial reporting.
+ Process payments to vendors, including check and electronic payments, adhering to established payment schedules.
+ Reconcile invoices with payment records and resolve any discrepancies.
+ Settlement & Wire Payment Processing:
+ Process all settlement payments accurately and timely.
+ Initiate and manage wire payment requests, ensuring all vital documentation and approvals are obtained.
+ Track and report on settlement and wire payments, including preparing monthly reports and analysis.

+ Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
+ 2 to 4 years proven experience in legal billing and financial management
+ Ability to Apply critical thinking skills to evaluate information, identify potential risks, and make informed decisions.
+ Effectively manage and prioritize a high volume of invoices and tasks, meeting deadlines and ensuring accuracy.
+ Demonstrate strong organizational skills, maintaining detailed records and tracking progress on multiple projects simultaneously.
+ Adapt to changing priorities and shift focus as critical issues or deadlines arise.
+ Proficiency in legal billing systems and corporate payment processing tools
+ Strong Microsoft Excel skills (including VLOOPIP, pivot tables, etc.)
+ Understanding of financial regulations and compliance requirements
+ Knowledge of international billing practices and VAT tax is a plus

CBRE carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including a candidate’s education, training, and experience. The minimum salary for the Senior Legal Billing Analyst position is $100,000 annually and the maximum salary for the Senior Legal Billing Analyst position is $110,000 annually. The compensation offered to a successful candidate will depend on their skills, qualifications, and experience. Successful candidates will also be eligible for a discretionary bonus based on CBRE’s applicable benefit program. This role will provide the following benefits: 401(K), Dental insurance, Health insurance, Life insurance, and Vision insurance.
