    About the Role:

    We are seeking a **Software Engineering Manager (Salesforce)** to lead a multidisciplinary team of Salesforce Developers, Admins, and QA Analysts. Reporting directly to the Director of Engineering, you’ll be responsible for building, enhancing, and supporting solutions across Salesforce Health Cloud and Data Cloud platforms.

     

    This role demands a balance of technical leadership, solution design, team mentorship, and hands-on delivery.

    Key Responsibilities:

    + Partner with Product teams and stakeholders to define and document solution requirements.

    + Design Salesforce solutions aligned with best practices and product requirements.

    + Create and maintain detailed architectural documentation (ERDs, process flows, decisions).

    + Present solution designs in architecture review sessions before development begins.

    + Oversee development activities in sandbox environments and manage deployments via Copado.

    + Ensure quality through peer reviews and enforce documentation and code standards.

    + Guide QA testing strategies, ensuring thorough defect tracking and resolution.

    + Support user acceptance testing (UAT) and release readiness.

    + Act as technical lead for all Salesforce releases, ensuring compliance with change control.

    + Manage incident resolution for production issues and communicate proactively.

    + Lead and mentor Salesforce Developers, Admins, and QA Engineers.

    + Conduct regular 1:1s, performance reviews, and provide growth-oriented coaching.

    + Drive collaboration, accountability, and continuous learning within the team.

    + Support hiring by identifying high-potential candidates.

    + Contribute hands-on to unblock teams and maintain delivery velocity.

    + Participate in architecture/code reviews and strategic technical discussions.

    + Deliver engineering metrics and progress reports to leadership.

    + Collaborate on shaping technical and product roadmaps.

    Required Skills & Experience:

    + **7+ years** of professional software development experience.

    + **2+ years** in a technical leadership or management capacity.

    + Strong expertise in **Salesforce Health Cloud** or **Service Cloud** .

    + Experience with Salesforce configuration and Apex customization.

    + Understanding of **microservices** , **APIs** , and **relational databases** .

    + Knowledge of **Copado** , **CI/CD** , **Confluence** , **JIRA** .

    + Solid experience with Agile methodologies (daily standups, sprint planning, retrospectives).

    + Strong written and verbal communication skills for both technical and business audiences.

    Required Certifications:

    + Salesforce Certified Administrator

    + Salesforce Certified Advanced Administrator

    + Salesforce Certified Platform App Builder

    + Salesforce Certified Data Architect **or** Application Architect

    + _(Bonus)_ Additional Salesforce certifications (e.g., Marketing Cloud, Data Cloud)
