    Our client, a leader in the energy sector, is seeking a Project Outreach Specialist to join their team. As a Project Outreach Specialist, you will be part of the Communications Department supporting various project teams. The ideal candidate will have excellent written and public speaking skills, strong interpersonal skills, and a solid understanding of business practices, which will align successfully within the organization.

     

    **Job Title:** Project Outreach Specialist

    **Location:** New Albany, OH

    **Pay Range:** $35-39 per hour

     

    What's the Job?

     

    + Work directly with affected or potentially affected landowners to gain beneficial project routing information and resolve issues before and during the transmission line routing process.

    + Support efforts to educate the public (landowners, thought leaders, elected officials) about proposed transmission projects.

    + Assist in developing customer outreach strategies that enhance two-way communications and improve line routing success.

    + Provide field support to transmission siting, line engineering, right of way, and project management teams to ensure projects are executed on time.

    + Collaborate closely with various departments to foster effective communication between key stakeholders and the project team.

     

    What's Needed?

     

    + Bachelor's degree in journalism, business, marketing, customer service, advertising, communications, public relations, or a related field.

    + A minimum of one year of experience in Utilities, Corporate Communications, Customer Service, Marketing, Media Relations, Journalism, or a related field.

    + Ability to handle multiple projects and assignments effectively.

    + Willingness to work extended hours to meet project requirements and schedules.

    + Some overnight travel to facilities and projects may be required periodically (approximately 20% travel time).
