    Now Hiring: Packaging Technicians – Day & Night Shifts (Mechanical Focus)

    _Location: Charlotte, NC | Onsite at a leading food manufacturing facility_

    **Manpower** is currently seeking **mechanically inclined Packaging Technicians** to support the efficient and safe operation of high-speed packaging lines. This role is ideal for individuals with **hands-on mechanical experience** , strong knowledge of **hand tools** , and the ability to **troubleshoot and maintain production machinery** .

    Key Responsibilities:

    + Lead setup, changeovers, and operation of packaging equipment.

    + Troubleshoot issues involving machine components, sensors, and jams to minimize downtime.

    + Perform basic maintenance and assist with preventative maintenance tasks.

    + Monitor product quality, record production data, and support team training.

    + Maintain compliance with GMP, PPE, safety, and quality standards.

    • **Required Skills:**

    + Strong mechanical aptitude with problem-solving abilities.

    + Understanding of belts, gears, bearings, rollers, and other machine components.

    + Proficient with hand tools and capable of basic machine adjustments.

    + Ability to read and interpret production data and run sheets.

    + Strong communication and leadership qualities.

    Shift Availability:

    + **URGENT NEED: Night Shift (6:15 PM – 5:45 AM)** – 13 openings

    + **Day Shift (5:45 AM – 6:15 PM)** – 6 openings _Schedule: AWS (2-2-3); every other weekend required._

     

    Pay Rate: $24 per hour, weekly pay

    Additional Information:

    + Mechanical aptitude testing required- must pass

    + Overtime is available and may be required.

    + Opportunities for contract extension into FY26.
