    POS Windows System Administrator and POS Tester

     

    Entry level position to support, troubleshoot and test a storewide Point of Sale (POS) system. As part of a fast paced, dynamic information technology team you will work closely with the Point of Sale team as well as collaborate closely with store personnel, field engineers, and development team to ensure the accurate, easy, and smooth processing of POS transactions.

    Responsibilities

    + Process all transaction types to test, verify, and validate accuracy, functionality, and usability. This includes cash registers, pin pads, scanners, receipt printers and Self-Check-out units

    + Ensure prices, taxes, discounts, promotions, barcodes, and receipts apply accurately and correctly.

    + Troubleshoot and resolve software and hardware related issues.

    + Create test cases using real store experience.

    + Windows system administration supporting 2400 Windows 10 registers, 2400 Verifone payment devices, security patching,

    + Follow documented procedures to perform administrative support and end user support for store systems software.

    + Follow documented procedures to perform Administrative support for 350 Linux servers.

    + 24/7 On-call rotation.

    Qualifications

    + 3+ years POS retail store experience

    + Understanding of Windows operating systems

    + Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues

    + Attention to detail

    + Effective communication skills
