Description We are looking for an experienced Senior Tax Accountant to join our team in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. This role involves providing comprehensive tax and financial services for businesses, individuals, trusts, and estates. The ideal candidate will be skilled in tax planning, return preparation, and financial statement reviews, while fostering client relationships and supporting team development.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and review a variety of tax returns, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulations.

• Deliver compilation and review services for financial statements of privately held businesses.

• Create detailed tax projections to assist clients in planning and decision-making.

• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients through ongoing consultation and support.

• Mentor and train staff members to enhance their growth and expertise.

• Analyze and respond to tax notices with timeliness and precision.

• Collaborate on team initiatives to improve processes and achieve organizational goals.

• Participate in recruiting efforts to attract top talent to the firm.

• Engage in community events to represent the organization and build networks. Requirements • Proficiency in preparing individual and corporate tax returns.

• Strong expertise in tax preparation using tools like CCH ProSystem Fx.

• Solid understanding of tax laws and financial statement reviews.

• Excellent interpersonal skills to manage client relationships effectively.

• Ability to train and lead team members with a focus on attention to detail.

• Proven problem-solving skills, especially in addressing tax notices.

• Commitment to contributing to team initiatives and organizational growth.

• Active involvement in community organizations is a plus.
