Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Credit Clerk to join our team in Lansing, Michigan, on a contract basis. In this role, you will be responsible for managing credit-related tasks efficiently while ensuring accuracy in financial entries and administrative processes. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to a dynamic manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities:

• Process and verify vendor forms with precision to maintain accurate records.

• Audit financial entries to ensure compliance and accuracy.

• Manage administrative tasks related to credit and billing functions.

• Handle accounts receivable processes, including collections and reconciliations.

• Respond to inbound calls with professionalism, addressing queries related to billing and payments.

• Utilize accounting software systems and SAP to streamline operations.

• Monitor financial data queues in business systems and perform necessary updates.

• Collaborate with team members to resolve discrepancies and improve workflows.

• Prepare reports and documentation to support financial audits. Requirements • Proficiency in accounting software systems, including SAP.

• Strong understanding of accounts receivable and collection processes.

• Experience with billing functions and financial data management.

• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting.

• Ability to handle inbound calls and provide exceptional customer service.

• Familiarity with business systems and financial workflows.

• Detail-oriented with strong auditing and verification skills.
