Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our team in Houston, Texas. In this role, you will oversee key accounting tasks, ensuring accuracy and compliance with financial standards. This position requires a proactive individual with a solid foundation in accounting principles and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.

Responsibilities:

• Manage the month-end close process, ensuring timely and accurate completion of all accounting entries.

• Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts to ensure financial records are precise and up-to-date.

• Prepare and review journal entries, ensuring consistency with accounting standards.

• Conduct account reconciliations to identify discrepancies and resolve issues promptly.

• Perform bank reconciliations to verify transactions and balances.

• Analyze financial data to support decision-making and improve reporting accuracy.

• Collaborate with internal teams to streamline accounting processes and enhance efficiency.

• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and organizational policies in all financial operations.

• Provide insights and recommendations to improve accounting practices and reporting procedures. Requirements • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting with a focus on detail and precision.

• Proficiency in month-end close processes and general ledger management.

• Strong skills in preparing and reviewing journal entries.

• Expertise in account reconciliation and resolving discrepancies.

• Experience with bank reconciliation processes.

• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting.

• Excellent communication and organizational skills to manage multiple priorities effectively.
