_About The Position_
_The Vegetation Coordinator is responsible for day-to-day coordinating duties associated with the scheduling and management of construction, maintenance and compliance work performed by various vegetation contractor crews._
_Key responsibilities include:_
+ Work with various internal Customers, Superintendents, Construction Supervisors, Engineers, and other personnel to coordinate vegetation work and/or resolve complaints.
+ Identify & act to halt and/or eliminate unsafe acts in the workplace.
+ Serve as the central point of contact for all parties regarding contractor job scheduling.
+ At times to assign and/or direct employees regarding their work assignment.
+ Manage & coordinate contractor employees that support multiple locations across the service territory.
+ Create purchase order requisitions and approve contractor invoices.
+ Monitor daily compliance reports and track compliance dates to ensure compliance.
+ Assign, schedule & track vegetation work, for the assigned work groups.
+ Efficient utilization of company resources and assets.
+ Review of project folders to ensure completeness and accuracy.
+ Conduct (lead) training for contractors and for work groups within Vegetation Management.
+ Coordinate and track projects completed by outside contractors; interface with internal and external resources to coordinate project completion requirements.
+ Contribute to the development of the annual Vegetation Management goals and execution of the business plan.
+ Storm support required during storm restoration efforts.
+ Other duties will include special projects as assigned.
Must possess, or have available, a motor vehicle for use on the job.
The Vegetation Coordinator works a standard day-shift. Work is done primarily in the office. Site visits are required, as necessary. Subject to 24-hour emergency call; may be required to participate in callout duty rotation.
_Qualifications_
High School Diploma or equivalent required. Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Construction Management, or related field from an accredited college or university preferred. Two or more years of relevant experience required. Experience may be reduced for candidates with a Bachelor Degree in a preferred field. ISA arborist certification preferred, or ability to obtain within 1 year after hire.
In addition to the above qualifications, the successful candidate will demonstrate:
Basic computer proficiency; Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite; Proficiency with specific Ameren systems preferred (e.g. ORACLE, TRIS, EMPRV, GCAM/MAXIMO, CDIS, EADMS, ROD, ArcGIS) preferred; and the following Ameren competencies: Be Strategic, Continuously Improve, Deliver Results, Engage Respectfully, Foster Collaboration, and Think Customer.

Ameren’s selection process includes a series of interviews and may include a leadership assessment process. Specific details will be provided to qualified candidates.
Compensation Range:
$69,300.00 - $107,400.00
At Ameren, base salary is one component of a competitive compensation package for employees. Our pay ranges are broad to allow for movement within our organization and to accommodate different skill sets and levels of expertise. We take into consideration a variety of factors including, but not limited to, skills, abilities, experience, education, credentials, and internal equity when determining the base salary offered. Roles are eligible for additional rewards including annual incentive payments based on individual and company performance.
