Description We are looking for an experienced Python Developer to join our team on a long-term contract basis in Mount Laurel Township, New Jersey. In this role, you will lead development efforts and collaborate with engineers to enhance software solutions that protect Comcast and its customers. This position offers a dynamic environment where you will contribute to building robust frameworks and tools while driving innovation.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the development cycle, including planning sprints and defining work stages.

• Design, develop, and optimize Python-based applications and frameworks.

• Build and enhance front-end functionalities, ensuring improved centralization and user experience.

• Collaborate with the team to create an in-house load generation tool for large-scale traffic simulations.

• Develop and maintain APIs for seamless integration across systems.

• Work with databases, preferably SQL, to ensure efficient data management and retrieval.

• Identify and implement improvements to existing systems and processes.

• Utilize knowledge of Linux servers to support application deployment and management.

• Provide technical leadership and guidance to developers with less experience.

• Stay updated on industry trends to apply best practices in software development. Requirements • At least 7 years of experience in software development, with a strong focus on Python.

• Proficiency with Python frameworks and full-stack web development.

• Experience in database management, preferably SQL.

• Familiarity with Linux servers and their configuration.

• Ability to lead projects and drive development efforts.

• Knowledge of large-scale traffic generation tools and cyber-attack simulations.

• Strong understanding of API development and integration.
