Description We are looking for a skilled Desktop Support Analyst to join our team in New Braunfels, Texas. This Contract-to-permanent position offers an exciting opportunity to enhance network infrastructure, support IT equipment, and provide exceptional technical assistance to users. The role requires a proactive individual who can ensure the stability and efficiency of our systems while fostering clear communication with team members.
Responsibilities:
• Upgrade and maintain network infrastructure, including routers, modems, and access points, to improve connectivity and system reliability.
• Install and configure new IT equipment and ensure seamless functionality for end users.
• Provide comprehensive explanations of software systems to staff, ensuring ease of use and adoption.
• Troubleshoot and maintain existing systems such as computers, routers, and other hardware, resolving technical issues efficiently.
• Conduct research and recommend hardware and networking solutions to optimize performance.
• Develop and document processes and systems aimed at enhancing company efficiency and productivity.
• Gain a thorough understanding of company operations by completing training courses, reviewing operational manuals, and observing on-site procedures.
• Collaborate with corporate team members to understand their workflows, software usage, and operational challenges.
• Assist in learning and managing the administrative functions of software systems, including Yardi, Gmail, and other tools, to support business operations.
• Coordinate video calls or site visits to identify and address IT requirements effectively. Requirements • Proficiency in PC desktop and workstation support, including hardware and software troubleshooting.
• Hands-on experience with Active Directory for user and system management.
• Strong knowledge of desktop hardware and imaging processes.
• Expertise in Windows 10 operating systems.
• Excellent communication skills to effectively explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
• Ability to document processes clearly and create user-friendly training materials.
• Prior experience with network infrastructure, including routers, modems, and access points.
