Description

We are looking for an Accountant to join our team in St Helens, Oregon, on a contract to permanent basis. This role requires someone who is proactive and capable of managing various accounting tasks with accuracy and efficiency. Ideal candidates will thrive in a dynamic environment and be comfortable collaborating with the Senior Accountant to maintain seamless financial operations.

Responsibilities:

• Address and resolve accounting-related inquiries, taking initiative to troubleshoot and provide solutions as needed.

• Handle requests for invoice or receipt copies in a timely and organized manner.

• Process credit card payments accurately and ensure proper documentation.

• Input new customer information into the accounting system when required.

• Make outbound calls to collect overdue accounts receivable and maintain clear and effective communication.

• Support the Senior Accountant with additional tasks as they arise, contributing to team efficiency.

Requirements

• Proven experience in general ledger, accounts receivable management and collections.

• Familiarity with handling invoice copies and credit card payment processing.

• Strong communication skills for answering inbound calls and making collections-related calls.

• Ability to manage credit card receipts and maintain accurate records.

• Self-motivated with the ability to troubleshoot and take initiative in resolving issues.
