Description
Robert Half is partnering with a client in the property management industry to recruit an efficient and detail-oriented Office Clerk to provide administrative support. In this role, you will assist with day-to-day operations that contribute to the smooth functioning of the property management office. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, excellent attention to detail, and an eagerness to be part of a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
+ Support the administrative needs of the property management team by organizing and managing paperwork, filing systems, and office supplies.
+ Handle routine clerical tasks such as data entry, document preparation, and correspondence with tenants, vendors, and staff.
+ Answer and direct phone calls, emails, and other inquiries to the appropriate staff members professionally and efficiently.
+ Assist with processing rent payments, vendor invoices, and other financial transactions, ensuring accuracy and timely completion.
+ Help track and manage maintenance requests, work orders, and vendor follow-ups.
+ Maintain office organization and ensure all records and files are up-to-date and compliant with company policies.
+ Assist with the preparation of reports, leasing documents, and tenant communications.
+ Greet visitors or tenants and direct them to the appropriate personnel or resources.
+ Other duties as assigned to support day-to-day office functions in a property management setting.
Requirements
+ 1+ years of clerical or administrative experience, preferably in property management or real estate.
+ Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with a keen eye for detail.
+ Proficiency with office software, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and Outlook).
+ Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
+ Familiarity with property management software (e.g., Yardi, AppFolio, or similar) is a plus.
+ Ability to prioritize tasks effectively and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
+ Professional demeanor with a customer-service mindset.
+ High school diploma or equivalent required; additional certifications in office administration are a plus.
