    Description

    Are you ready to kick-start or advance your accounting career? Robert Half is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Staff Accountant to join our client's accounting team. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to the daily financial operations of an organization while gaining invaluable experience in a fast-paced and collaborative environment.

    Key Responsibilities:

    + Maintain and update financial records, including journal entries, general ledger reconciliations, and accruals.

    + Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial reports in compliance with GAAP.

    + Reconcile bank accounts and perform account analysis to ensure accuracy and resolve discrepancies.

    + Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions, including invoices and payments.

    + Support the preparation of budgets and forecasts.

    + Assist with internal and external audits, providing necessary documentation and schedules.

    + Identify opportunities for process improvement and contribute to the implementation of best practices in financial operations.

    Requirements

    + Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

    + 1-2+ years of accounting experience preferred (internship experience also welcome for recent grads!).

    + Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, or similar ERP systems) and Microsoft Excel (e.g., pivot tables, VLOOKUP).

    + Strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and a team-oriented mindset.
