Description We are looking for a skilled Paralegal to join our team in San Jose, California. This role offers the flexibility of a hybrid schedule and is open to remote candidates with exceptional qualifications. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in civil litigation, trial preparation, and case management while contributing to a dynamic legal environment.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with discovery processes, including gathering and organizing relevant documents.

• Provide comprehensive support in civil litigation cases, ensuring deadlines and filings are met.

• Prepare trial materials and documentation, collaborating with attorneys for effective case presentation.

• Manage case files using specialized software, maintaining accuracy and organization.

• Conduct legal research and draft correspondence to support attorneys in various matters.

• Monitor billable hours to meet monthly and annual targets efficiently.

• Handle family law cases with attention to detail and client confidentiality.

• Coordinate with clients and legal teams to ensure effective communication and case progress.

• Support hybrid legal assistant and paralegal responsibilities as required.

• Maintain compliance with legal standards and procedures throughout all casework. Requirements • Minimum of 1-3 years of paralegal or legal assistant experience.

• Proficiency in civil litigation and trial preparation processes.

• Strong familiarity with case management software and legal documentation.

• Experience handling family law matters is highly desirable.

• Excellent organizational and time management skills.

• Ability to meet billable hour requirements of 115 per month and 1,380 annually.

• Strong communication skills for client and team interactions.

• High level of adaptability to hybrid work environments and remote settings.
