Our client is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Medical Claims Representative to join their team on a contract basis. This is a fantastic opportunity for a career-driven individual to expand their skills in a fast-paced environment within the healthcare industry. Responsibilities: Review and process medical claims accurately and in compliance with established guidelines. Ensure proper coding and documentation for claims processing. Verify patient eligibility for insurance benefits and resolve related inquiries. Investigate and resolve discrepancies or issues related to claims. Communicate effectively with insurance companies, providers, and patients regarding claims status and requirements. Maintain confidentiality and comply with HIPAA regulations at all times. Requirements Prior experience in medical claims processing or billing is required. Familiarity with medical terminology, coding (CPT, ICD-10), and insurance authorization processes. Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines in a high-volume environment. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and claims management software is preferred. High school diploma or equivalent required; additional healthcare certifications or coursework in medical billing is a plus.
