Position Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable School Tax Clerk to support school tax operations on a temporary basis from mid-September through mid-December. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working with numbers, demonstrate excellent data entry accuracy, and maintain a high level of confidentiality and professionalism.

Key Responsibilities:

+ Process incoming school tax payments efficiently and accurately

+ Post transactions in batches using internal proprietary software

+ Perform data entry tasks with both speed and precision

+ Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of payments and transactions

+ Provide administrative support related to school tax collection

+ Ensure compliance with local procedures and guidelines

+ Communicate with internal staff or external parties as needed for payment verification or clarification

Requirements

Qualifications:

+ Prior experience in clerical, tax, finance, or data entry roles preferred

+ Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry

+ Ability to work independently and manage workload in a time-sensitive environment

+ Proficient with computers and comfortable learning proprietary software

+ Excellent organizational and communication skills
