Description We are looking for a skilled Supply Chain Management Specialist to join our team in West Hartford, Connecticut. In this long-term contract role, you will play a key part in analyzing supply chain operations, optimizing processes, and driving vendor performance improvements. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong background in supply chain logistics and financial analysis.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct detailed supply chain analyses to identify areas for improvement and efficiency.

• Perform vendor reduction evaluations to streamline supplier relationships and improve cost-effectiveness.

• Analyze spending patterns to uncover opportunities for cost savings and improved financial management.

• Optimize supply chain processes to enhance operational performance and reduce inefficiencies.

• Collaborate with vendors to ensure alignment with performance standards and quality expectations.

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to foster long-term partnerships.

• Monitor and evaluate vendor performance to ensure compliance with contractual agreements.

• Provide insights and recommendations based on data-driven assessments of supply chain activities.

• Support cross-functional teams in implementing supply chain improvement initiatives. Requirements • Proven experience in supply chain management with a focus on process optimization.

• Strong understanding of supply chain logistics and best practices.

• Demonstrated ability to perform financial analysis and interpret complex data.

• Expertise in managing vendor relationships and ensuring supplier performance.

• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to identify trends and propose solutions.

• Effective communication and collaboration skills for working with internal teams and external suppliers.

• Proficiency in using supply chain management software and tools.

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field preferred.
