Description We are looking for a dedicated Logistics Clerk to join our team in Eden Prairie, Minnesota. This is a long-term contract position within the health insurance industry, offering an opportunity to contribute to vital pharmacy operations while working in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. Ideal candidates will have strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering excellent service.
Responsibilities:
• Sort and organize electronic copies of incoming fax transmittals, ensuring they are accurately indexed into the appropriate Prior Authorization system.
• Conduct research to identify member, provider, and drug information across multiple computer systems.
• Review incoming prior authorization requests and initiate coverage determination processes promptly and accurately.
• Make outbound calls to providers or members to obtain additional information for resolving prior authorization cases or to communicate case outcomes.
• Navigate multiple computer systems to gather essential information for outbound communication with members and providers.
• Educate members, guardians, providers, and pharmacy staff on procedures to promote compliance and prevent risks.
• Process member prior authorizations using various computer systems, ensuring data accuracy and timely updates.
• Handle incoming calls from members or providers, applying benefit plan criteria to make decisions regarding approvals, denials, or recommendations.
• Collaborate with team members to gather additional details or interpret clinical guidelines as needed.
• Meet departmental performance targets and work with minimal supervision to complete tasks efficiently. Requirements • Availability to work a flexible schedule, including early mornings, late evenings, weekends, holidays, and overtime as required.
• Reliable home internet access with hardwired Ethernet connectivity and a secure home workspace free from distractions.
• Proficiency in using a PC, including navigating multiple systems and screens with a keyboard and mouse.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to explain complex procedures clearly.
• Experience in handling inbound and outbound calls in a detail-oriented setting.
• Ability to research and analyze information across multiple platforms with high accuracy.
• Familiarity with pharmacy operations, prior authorization processes, and appeals procedures is preferred.
• Commitment to maintaining attendance and meeting service level agreements in a remote work environment. TalentMatch®
