Description We are looking for a skilled QuickBooks Desktop Enterprise Specialist to join our team on a contract basis in Huntington Park, California. This role involves managing and optimizing accounting operations while ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial data. With flexible scheduling and potential for long-term engagement, this is an excellent opportunity to contribute your expertise in a hands-on environment.

Responsibilities:

• Analyze and resolve issues within QuickBooks Desktop Enterprise to maintain system functionality.

• Review and restructure the Chart of Accounts to ensure accurate financial tracking.

• Enter and verify financial transactions to maintain data accuracy and consistency.

• Process and reconcile credit card purchases, ensuring proper documentation.

• Collaborate with the offsite bookkeeper to ensure seamless and accurate accounting entries.

• Compile and prepare data to support the creation of preliminary financial statements.

• Report directly to the Vice President to review and validate financial data before submission.

• Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, reconciliations, and other core accounting tasks.

• (Preferred) Provide support for job costing and other accounting functions related to construction or manufacturing industries. Requirements • Minimum of 5–8 years of direct experience with QuickBooks Desktop Enterprise.

• Strong ability to troubleshoot and improve the integrity of QuickBooks data.

• Comprehensive understanding of accounting principles and processes.

• Proven experience in credit card transaction processing and reconciliations.

• Prior exposure to accounting practices in construction or manufacturing industries is a plus.

• Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to work independently.

• Availability to work onsite in Huntington Park, California, as required.
