    Description

    We are looking for a detail-oriented Inventory Clerk to provide administrative support to the supply chain department in Jeffersonville, Indiana. This contract position requires a proactive individual who can assist with inventory management, planning, and ordering while maintaining a strong presence on the production floor.     Responsibilities:

    • Support the supply chain team by managing inventory tasks, including planning, ordering, and conducting cycle counts.

    • Collaborate with buyers to ensure accurate inventory levels and efficient procurement processes.

    • Perform administrative duties such as generating and maintaining inventory reports.

    • Regularly visit the production floor to monitor inventory and address operational needs.

    • Utilize ERP systems to track and manage inventory data.

    • Ensure proper documentation and adherence to supply chain procedures.

    • Identify and resolve discrepancies related to inventory counts or orders.

    • Communicate effectively with team members and other departments to streamline workflows.

    • Maintain a flexible schedule to meet operational demands during the contract period.

    Requirements

    • Proven experience in inventory management, supply chain, shipping/receiving or a related field.

    • Familiarity with ERP systems.

    • Strong administrative skills, including report generation and data tracking.

    • Ability to perform cycle counts and manage inventory discrepancies.

    • Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration across teams.

    • Comfortable working on the production floor and handling physical inventory tasks.

    • Industry experience in manufacturing or supply chain operations is preferred.

    • Ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
