Description We are looking for an experienced Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team in Richmond, Virginia. In this long-term contract position, you will play a key role in managing financial transactions and ensuring the accuracy of payment processes. This opportunity is ideal for professionals with a strong attention to detail and a solid background in accounts payable functions.

Responsibilities:

• Process invoices accurately and efficiently, ensuring compliance with company standards.

• Perform account reconciliations to maintain accurate financial records.

• Conduct regular check runs to facilitate timely payments.

• Code invoices appropriately and verify details for accuracy.

• Enter financial data into systems with precision and attention to detail.

• Collaborate with team members to resolve discrepancies or payment issues.

• Utilize Yardi software to manage and track accounts payable activities.

• Assist in maintaining organized and up-to-date financial documentation.

• Generate reports and provide insights into payment trends and outstanding balances. Requirements • Proven experience in accounts payable or similar finance roles.

• Proficiency in account reconciliation and invoice processing.

• Familiarity with check run procedures and coding invoices.

• Advanced data entry skills with a focus on accuracy.

• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel.

• Experience with Yardi software is highly preferred.

• Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.

• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
