Posting Summary
Join our team as the Pediatrics Clerkship Coordinator, a pivotal role responsible for coordinating and supporting a comprehensive clinical education program across multiple hospital and community settings. You will support third- and fourth-year medical students by scheduling and coordinating clinical rotations, managing student access and credentials, administering exams, and driving continuous program improvement. Minimum Qualifications (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required. At least one to four years of progressively responsible experience in academic program coordination, student services, or healthcare administration preferred. Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills are essential. Proficiency with office productivity software and academic data management systems is required. Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and maintain confidentiality is critical.
Desirable Qualifications
Experience supporting student-facing programs or services in an academic or healthcare education setting. Familiarity with educational technology platforms and student records systems. Understanding of FERPA , HIPAA , and other student data confidentiality standards. Demonstrated ability to coordinate complex schedules or multi-site programs. Strong written communication skills, particularly in preparing materials or guidance for students.
Anticipated Pay Range $25.75-$29/hour
Other Information
A 120-day probation period is required.
Special Conditions Bargaining unit position, A probationary period may be required, Occasional evening and/or weekends required (if non-exempt position, may result in overtime), A probationary period may be required for current UVM employees, Background Check required for this position
