    GENERAL DESCRIPTION:

    Senior Program Managers are strategic leaders responsible for overseeing and guiding the execution of complex, cross-functional programs that align with enterprise-level business priorities. They are accountable for delivering value across multiple interconnected projects, ensuring that business outcomes—not just project outputs—are achieved.

     

    Senior Program Managers play a critical role in shaping program strategy, influencing enterprise stakeholders, and ensuring that resources and teams are aligned across a portfolio of initiatives. With a focus on long-term planning, they help establish repeatable practices that drive business transformation and scalability. They frequently serve as change leaders, balancing strategy with execution and guiding teams through organizational ambiguity, technical complexity, and enterprise-level dependencies.

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    Technical Responsibilities** **:

    + Leads and oversees large-scale, enterprise-wide programs focused on system implementation and stabilization, ensuring alignment with strategic business goals across matrixed functions and divisions.

    + Defines and governs program execution strategies, integrating timelines, budgets, and resource plans to ensure seamless delivery of stable, scalable solutions.

    + Drives cross-functional collaboration across technical, operational, and business teams, serving as a strategic advisor to senior leadership on integration dependencies, stabilization risks, and resource alignment.

    + Provides oversight and mentorship to project managers and workstream leads, ensuring consistent delivery practices and effective escalation management across complex system landscapes.

    + Develops and enforces program-level risk and issue management frameworks, with a focus on identifying and mitigating risks related to system performance, data integrity, and operational continuity.

    + Coordinates enterprise-wide resource planning, ensuring the right technical and functional expertise is applied to support system implementation and post-launch stabilization.

    + Leverages deep systems knowledge to identify root causes of instability, recommend architectural improvements, and drive systemic enhancements to business processes and technology platforms.

    + Establishes and maintains program dashboards and performance metrics that provide visibility into implementation progress, system health, and business impact.

    + Leads governance forums and steering committees, facilitating timely decision-making and alignment across diverse stakeholder groups in a matrixed environment.

    + Develops and executes strategic communication and change management plans to support adoption, minimize disruption, and ensure long-term system sustainability.

    Functional Responsibilities:

    + Build and sustain trust-based relationships across business units, technical teams, and executive leadership to align priorities and enable timely, informed decision-making in complex, matrixed environments.

    + Navigates organizational ambiguity and change with emotional intelligence, fostering collaboration, managing conflict, and maintaining program momentum through periods of uncertainty.

    + Champions enterprise-wide transformation by aligning system implementation and stabilization efforts with long-term business outcomes, even amid shifting priorities.

    + Cultivates and empowers high-performing, cross-functional teams by recognizing talent, fostering accountability, and ensuring alignment with program goals throughout the implementation lifecycle.

    + Leads through influence, not authority—driving clarity, confidence, and purpose across diverse stakeholder groups and technical domains.

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    + BS or equivalent

    + Must have 10+ years of work experience in at least one discipline (Finance, Procurement, IT, R&D, Ops, Customer Care, etc.)

    + PMP or equivalent preferred

    + Program level support of ERP/PLM deployments strongly preferred.

    + Lean / Six Sigma Belt certification or direct process and technology project management experience preferred.
