Position Summary
The Senior Director of IT Transformation Programs and Workplace Experience is a strategic leader accountable for shaping and executing the vision for workplace technology and services in a dynamic high-tech med-tech environment. This individual will drive a transformation of the employee customer experience related to technology services, with a core focus on enhancing the productivity and satisfaction of employees and commercial teams through seamless, secure, and innovative digital workplace solutions. This role will also manage and execute strategic transformation programs at the direction of the Chief Digital Information Officer.
This role blends strategic vision, tactical execution, and metrics-based outcomes to lead workplace innovation and the execution of strategic transformation programs. The Senior Director also plays a vital role in Voice of the Customer (VoC) programs and owns key initiatives to ensure workplace services and IT transformation programs are aligned with the needs of the business, healthcare compliance standards, and the strategic direction of the IT organization.
K** **ey Responsibilities:
Strategy & Execution
+ Develop and execute the enterprise-wide IT Workplace Services strategy in alignment with business objectives, particularly those of commercial teams.
+ Translate strategic priorities into operational plans and projects, ensuring measurable business outcomes and internal customer value.
+ Serve as the internal customer champion, responsible for driving IT workplace service transformation that improves the employee experience across all roles and geographies.
+ Deliver projects that support IT’stransformation strategy and workforce enablement.
Customer Experience Leadership
+ Own and evolve the Voice of the Customer (VoC) program to measure and respond to employee feedback regarding IT services.
+ Lead the design and delivery of an operating model and services that support business workplace effectiveness, including tools for remote productivity and collaboration.
+ Define KPIs and SLAs that reflect customer satisfaction and service excellence, with transparent reporting to executive leadership.
Collaboration & Innovation
+ Collaborate with business partnership, enterprise applications, infrastructure, and security teams to ensure cohesive IT service delivery.
+ Provide technology support for healthcare-specific workflows such as field device compliance, R&D developmentregulatory documentation access, and secure collaboration.
+ Pilot and scale new workplace technologies that enhance productivity and compliance in a regulated environment.
+ Forges strong relationships with colleagues and incorporates insight on common delivery and execution challenges to drive projects and improve team performance.
+ Stays aware of broader contexts, current events, and trends that may affect business operations. Demonstrates strong business acumen in areas like ROI, speed to market, market share, and business value delivery.
+ Recruit, develop, and retain top talent across workplace service functions; foster a culture of innovation, excellence and winning as a team.
Project Delivery
+ Execution of IT transformation initiativesat the direction of the Chief Digital Information Officer.
Qualifications:
+ Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, or a related field; MBA/Master’s degree preferred.
+ 15+ years of IT leadership experience, with at least 5 in a senior management role focused on workplace or end-user services.
+ Proven ability to define and execute IT strategies that enhance employee experience in a highly regulated industry, preferably healthcare.
+ Extensive experience delivering IT global transformation programs at scale.
+ Demonstrated success in leading VoC programs, managing global teams, and working cross-functionally with commercial business units.
+ Strong understanding of healthcare industry regulatory requirements (HIPAA, HITECH).
+ ITIL certification and experience with service management tools like ServiceNow.
