    Job Summary

The primary responsibility of the Scale Agent is to track, record, and report the volume and type of material that leaves the pit on each truck. Maintain the scale house. Work with truck drivers, answer inquiries, and distribute safety information. If this is the right job for you, we would love to have you join our team!

    Main Responsibilities

    + Record vehicle tare weights and process daily scale transactions to generate vital scale ticket information.

    + Produce material reports.

    + Answer radio inquiries

    + Submit DOT reports for job locations.

    + Additional clerical tasks, as assigned.

     

    Education & Requirements

     

    + High School Diploma

    + Organized, with good attendance and a positive attitude.

    + Communicate well both written and verbally as well as work and solve problems independently.

    + Must be at least 18 years of age due to nature of working environment.

    + High level of understanding of computer programs, including but not limited to Microsoft programs (Excel, Outlook, Word). Experience with an accounting software/program preferred.

    + MUST HAVE valid drivers license

    + MUST be able to Multi Task

    + Comply and abide by Colaska Inc.’s Code of Ethics at all times during employment with the Company.

    + Worker must be able to pass drug screening at time of hire and random testing throughout employment.

     

    Compensation

     

    + Compensation starting pay is $24.50 hourly,

    + Overtime eligible.
